Pine Tar is a thick sticky oil obtained from the distillation of pine wood stumps,
a byproduct of the paper industry.  It has a pungent smoky pine scent and has
been used for many years to treat skin disorders such as Psoriasis, Dandruff &
Eczema.  It is well known for its ability to soothe dry, itchy skin and is also said
to have antiseptic properties.  This soap is dark brown in color due to the added
pine tar.  A wonderful "more natural" alternative to commercially medicated soaps
